About Emma

Hello, I'm Emma and I offer traditional Chinese acupuncture, cupping and gua sha at Soul Self Care Clinic in Harrogate. I studied at the prestigious Northern College of Acupuncture and  qualified with  a BSc (Hons) degree in traditional Chinese acupuncture with over 400 clinical hours experience and training in Western medicine, anatomy and physiology. I am a fully insured member of the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians.  

I first came to the therapy scene over twenty years ago, when I trained in massage, holistic clinical aromatherapy and Indian Head Massage.  About fourteen years ago, I developed RSI in my wrists and I was recommended to try acupuncture by Kelly, who owns Soul. I believe that I fell pregnant very quickly with my daughter as a result of having acupuncture! Fast forward a few years,  I made the  decision to train in acupuncture so that I could go back to enjoying helping people improve their health and well-being.
